Man found dead at Walt Disney World, sheriff’s office says

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A dead body was reported at a Walt Disney World property on Friday night, just one day after New Year’s, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the OCSO Calls for Service page, the body was reported just before 9 p.m. near East Buena Vista Drive.

While the page wasn’t specific at the time about the exact location of the response, OCSO provides a range that stretches from around Disney Springs to near some warehouses north of the local sheriff’s office substation.

The sheriff’s office followed up Saturday with the following statement:

On January 2, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies responded to the Disney Springs Orange Garage on East Buena Vista Drive and discovered a man who was deceased. This incident is being investigated as a possible suicide. We have no additional information to release and will have no further updates this weekend.
