The Age of Stunning Sound
Touch the authentic sound of a treasured instrument from the world’s most famous violin manufacturer. Created in 1727 by Antonio Stradivari, the violin “Vesuvius” embodies the unsurpassed skill of the Italian master. STRADIVARI VIOLIN conveys the sound of this historic instrument in the smallest details, played by master musicians in the rich acoustic environment of the Auditorium Giovanni Arvedi, Cremona. Sampled notes, an exciting vibrato sound, a variety of articulations and mixed microphone positions allow you to create highly expressive, realistic solo strings with a unique timbre known for 300 years.
Seamless Dynamic Passages
Create natural, vibrant solo violin performances. A smooth, phase-aligned cross-sectional change in velocity on long articulations eliminates phasing during the transition between dynamic layers.
Add Realistic Vibrato – Innovative simulation of a live virtuoso performance of vibrato recorded and reapplied to sample content allows you to get very reliable results through real-time control and automation.
Adjust the nuances of timbre
Get the perfect timbre for long articulations. Select “Low String” for a soft, juicy tone or “High String” for a brighter and more resonating sound. Or choose a Smart position that intelligently chooses a position close to the fretboard to the other notes being played, as a real violinist would do.
Wide Range of Articulations
Switch between 20 articulations in total, including long, short, expressive, dynamic and special, all with three legato transitions. Or choose Virtuoso Adaptive Articulation, which intelligently combines multiple articulations based on the cycling, note, and pitch change information you generate with the performance of your MIDI controller.
